Prospects for Anglo-American Conservatism: A Conference

Prospects for Anglo-American Conservatism in the Tradition of Russell Kirk and Roger Scruton

Date: June 27 – 28, 2025

Location: The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, Grand Rapids, Michigan

Our friends at the Russell Kirk Center hosted a special conference that considers the contemporary prospects for the Anglo-American intellectual conservative tradition.

Inspired by the complementary visions of Russell Kirk and Roger Scruton, this conference explored the humanistic and philosophical foundations of the conservative tradition in the English-speaking world. Attendees also heard insights on conservatism’s contributions to culture, religion, education, and more.

The conference featured many familiar faces, including RSLF Executive Director Fisher Derderian, Professor Ferenc Hörcher, and Dr. Daniel Pitt, among others.

You can find a recap of the conference from the Kirk Center here.
